Making it to the Top

Companies that want to be recognized as a great place to work and make it to the top of the lists need wellness programs! According to Carol Evans, CEO and President of Working Mother Media, "The 100 best companies are shifting their corporate cultures dramatically. They used to focus on solving employee's work life balance problems but now they're creating workplaces that help employees to value downtime, take care of their own wellness and keep their workload manageable."

These companies have found that it pays to help employees take care of their health. In a study just released, companies that invested in depressed employees by offering them treatment and therapy cut absenteeism, improved workers' health, and saved lot's of money doing so. The programs cost $100 -$400 per employee and returned $1800 in productivity savings.

Investing in the health and wellness of your employees continues to be a win win for corporations and the people that work for them.
