100 Top e-Diagnostic Sources

The people at Nursing Online Education Database have compiled an excellent list of 100 websites that help people get second opinions, learn about conditions and do other things to educate themselves about health online.

The NOEDb is devoted to reviewing online nursing schools.

What's great about the list is all of the entries that are probably new to you. Sure, we all know about using WebMD, Google and MedlinePlus.

But how about Afraid to Ask for those very personal healthcare concerns, or the human-powered health search engine Organized Wisdom? Or Lab Tests Online?

There's even a list of over 20 online health assessments (some primitive, some quite good).

It's a good list to share with colleagues in the wellness industry. A pared-down version may be part of what you share with your employees.

But no matter what you do, you may want to keep link No. 100 in mind: Wrong Diagnosis' "Pitfalls of Online Diagnosis."
