Even for the best of us, exercise can become routine. When this happens, it might be time to expand your idea of "exercise." Heath Bell, a pitcher for the San Diego Padres, uses the Nintendo Wii Fit with his children, and says that it has helped him shed a few extra pounds. "My 7-year-old daughter has Down syndrome, and she enjoys playing Wii with me," Bell said. "One day she grabbed my arm and said: 'Dad, you're sweating! You're working out!'"
If your idea of working out is spending endless hours on a treadmill, help is on the way. HealthFinder.gov offers seven tips for keeping your workouts interesting. Check them out, as well as all the other health information offered by the HealthFinder website. It's a great resource.
