Here are some of the results:
- The entire group lost a total of 800.6 pounds in eight weeks, an average of almost 5 pounds per person. One participant was able to return to her pre-pregnancy weight during the challenge.
- The total number of pedometer steps logged: 56,656,948. At 2,000 steps per mile, that's greater than the circumference of the earth.
- The average participant walked more than 20 miles per week.
Teams designed their own t-shirts, created posters, and designed group activities to motivate each other. And when you realize that this company's wellness program isn't even a year old, it's exciting to imagine what they'll accomplish next. Congratulations to them all!
