Several major newspapers have posted interactive graphics online to help individuals understand the legislation. They're definitely worth checking out:
- "Health-Care Coverage Prognosis" and "The Path to Change," both from the Wall Street Journal
- "How Different People Will Be Affected by the Health Care Overhaul" by the New York Times
Because many of the law's provisions take effect years from now, CNN's AC360 blog offers a useful timeline. It mentions that within the first year, new health care plans must provide preventive services without charging a co-payment. In 2018, this rule applies to all plans.
